Community Ed Sponsored Class - Intro to Fat Tire Biking - Ages 14 and up
Ride a bike and enjoy the fast growing sport of winter biking. Learn about basic riding techniques and embark on a beginner-rated tour. Equipment provided; only adult bikes, no youth bikes. MS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Le Sueur-Henderson Community Theatre group is looking for 3 boys and 3 girls that are 11-12 years old who want to be suspects at an upcoming event at the Le Sueur Library on January 20th from 3:30 to 5:00pm. See the bulletin board by the student phone for information if you are interested. The party on January 20 is for students ages 8-12.

The 6th grade Service Learning class will be hosting several activities to raise money to send care packages to deployed soldiers. Please join us for the fun!

Jostens will be here during high school lunch on Tuesday, January 17 to help with ring orders. Bring your orders/questions/etc. to them at this time.

The Dollars For Scholars Phone-A-Thon will be held on Sunday, January 22 from 4-8 pm and Monday, January 23 from 4-8pm. Seniors can sign up today and tomorrow in the office. Underclassmen can sign up starting on Tuesday.

Attn All Senior Girls: The Margaret Evans Huntington Scholarship for $500.00 is being offered to an LS-H senior girl. The application is available in the Career Center and must be returned to Ms. Carpenter by 4:00pm on Monday, February 27, 2017.

One Act Play – Play practice for everyone immediately after school today until 5:15. Saturday practice 9:30 until mid-afternoon for everyone.

SPORTS:
Activity passes may be purchased in the HS office or at any home game.
Cost is $30 for students and $75 for adults. This pass will get you into all LSH home athletic contests for the 2016-17 school year. (This does NOT include tournaments.)

Starting February 1st the William C. Dietrich Scholarship application is available to fill out on line. It is a $6,250 renewable scholarship to earn a bachelor's degree at a college or university of your choice for a graduating senior at Le Sueur-Henderson High School. In addition, the William C. and Corinne J. Dietrich Scholarship for a $5,00 renewable scholarship is also available on line. The only way to apply is on line. See posters in the senior hallway and career center. We will visit more about these two scholarships at our senior scholarship meeting on February 21. In the meantime take a look at this online.
