CONGRATULATIONS to the Boys Basketball Team on your great season and to Austin Anderly, runner up at the State Wrestling Meet. Also to our Robotics Team who competed at Duluth this past weekend.

CONGRATULATIONS to the 8 LSH students who placed at the Maple Lake 16 school, 3 prelim-no final speech meet on Saturday. Matt Bjork, Amelia Froelich, Jared Pudwill, Evan Coakley, Matthew Clark, Laura Schwartz, Nick Nugent and David Pioske.

CONGRATULATIONS to Students for the Month of March
6th Grade: Abby Strom - Abby is the daughter of Dwayne Strom and Nichola Strom. She has a great work ethic; she is very thorough and articulate with her classwork. Abby is kind and considerate to her classmates and very respectful to teachers.
7th Grade: Charlie Tesch - Charlie is the son of Chris and Rosanne Tesch. He works hard and always turns in high quality work. Charlie is a student who asks great questions and gets his classmates thinking. He is polite, kind and has a great positive attitude.
8th Grade: Tyler Stolley - Tyler is the son of John and Mary Ann Stolley. He always turns in high-quality work on time. He uses work time to his advantage and offers good, quality points during discussion. Tyler has proven to be a leader during socratic seminars as he provides points supported by text and includes all of his peers. He is polite, helpful, always respectful, kind to his classmates, works hard and is willing to try new things.
9th Grade: Gillian Bowman Parents: Amy Hunt & Chad Bowman
Gillian comes prepared for class and asks thoughtful questions. She works hard and is responsible. She also has a great sense of humor.
10th Grade: Mikayla Reinhardt Parents: Greg & Lynn Reinhardt
Mikayla is a leader in the class and is a hard worker. She is responsible and goes above and beyond. Mikayla is also sweet and funny.
11th Grade: Mandy Doerr Parents: Ashley Neal-Hank & Matthew Doerr
Mandy comes to class prepared. She is thorough and a frequent contributor in class. In addition, she produces high quality work.
12th Grade: Noah Weiers Parents: Charles & Laura Weiers
Noah participates well in class. He comes prepared and is hard-working. He’s engaging.

6th: Matthew Anderley - Matthew always has a smile on his face and is talkative with the adults. He tries very hard to do his best, a very dedicated student.
7th: Eve Mattocks - Eve is full of energy and is willing to try new things.
8th: Nick Brandt - Nick is a hard worker. He is very polite, will do what is asked of him and is always respectful.
9th: Juliana Figueroa - hardworking, joyful, serious about schoolwork

Friday, March 7th LSH HS Student Council is hosing a Hypnotist Show at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.

Mr. Bense's, Mr. Christ's, and Ms. Schluter's PE classes need to have both swim suits and regular PE clothes this week.

Bethany Lutheran College will be visiting LSH tomorrow, Tuesday, March 3 at 1:00. Any juniors or seniors who are interested in learning more about Bethany, please sign up to attend the visit on the door to the career center.

Miss Czeck Slovak Minnesota Pageant April 11th, Montgomery. See bulletin board by student phone for more information and how to obtain a registration form.

The Cheese Shop is hiring students age 16 and up. Stop by their store to apply. The cheese production facility in Le Sueur is also hiring seniors for full-time work after graduation. See Ms. Carpenter for application information.

**Seniors, Jostens will be here on Wednesday, 3/11 during HS lunch to deliver your graduation orders. Jostens will be set up in the commons.

**Seniors, many, many of you need to stop in the office and sign the sheet which will be the back cover of your graduation booklet.

**The high school talent show will follow the LSH Gala on 3/17 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. All high school students wishing to be part of the talent show should see Ms. Hynes.

SPEECH: Mrs. Kreft expects the full team to compete next Saturday at Shakopee. Rehearsals today after school for all who did not compete on Saturday and the writing and drawing categories.

Activity passes may be purchased in the HS office or at any home game.
Cost is $30 for students and $75 for adults. This pass will get you into all LSH home athletic contests for the 2014-15 school year. (This does NOT include tournaments.)
